Declaring what your day will be like from the second you wake up is crucial in having a productive day.
During my freshmen year of college, I had a professor one tell me the importance of making your bed every morning. He explained that this simple task can help one feel accomplished as they would have already done something with their first waking moments. Executing something that early on is a driving force to continue getting things done.
Creating a good morning routine will allow for simple tasks, such as making your bed, to turn into a subconscious habit. Every morning, I start my day by listening to my playlist titled “Tap In.” This playlist features songs that make me feel motivated, happy, and just that chick.
