Rihanna is back with another jaw-dropping fashion show. The Savage X Fenty show is a lingerie based fashion show that is inclusive to all shapes and sizes.
Since the release of its first show back in 2019, it has shown to break boundaries and social constructs that many companies willingly chose to enforce, all while knowing their models did not reflect your everyday person. This hour long program included notable names such as, Bella Hadid, Normani, Lizzo, Paris Hilton, Big Sean, and Christian Combs just to name a few.
Each scene in the program had a unique setup. My favorite setup was the second scene as it depicts a fairy wonderland. Within the program, Rihanna emphasizes how and why art is subjective and that inspiration is what drives people. There was a display of different elements that included inspiration from different cultures and experiences. This was showcased through the people who modeled, the setups, the songs, and the dances used. All of the elements in unison were able to create a beautiful body of work.
