The title of this blog has been my mood since I landed back home. Thanksgiving break was long overdue as the school semester has been getting busier and harder as the semester progressed.
Days leading up to my break I could only think of all the good quality food I was about to devour. My thanksgiving must haves include cornbread and ham. As long as I have those two items, my thanksgiving meal will never be a disappointment.
During my break, I took a day trip to New York City to get a few things done and enjoy the city’s scenery. NYC during the holidays is worth going to to get even more in the Christmas spirit.
This year, I did not partake in the Black Friday madness. I am more of a cyber Monday fanatic. Online shopping puts me on my zone as it is just me, my computer, my music, and my ideas only.
The night of Black Friday, my friends hosted a Friendsgiving. It was such a fun time because I was able to get with my friends that I haven’t seen for over a year. Nothing is better than quality time and good laughter. As the saying goes “ all good things must come to an end,” which applies to my short lived school break.
Overall, I was able to make the best of the time I did have. The next two weeks will consist of nothing other than studying for finals and getting ready for something exciting I have coming up! Until next time…
