The First and Last Tour by Summer Walker came to San Diego where I was able to get a ticket to go. I knew I had to be in attendance for this concert since Summer Walker plans for this to be her first and last tour, literally.

The opener for the night was an artist named Melii. Melii is someone I would describe as a breath of fresh air. I truly believe her spirit is shown throughout her music. I would believe that as an artist this energy is what is supposed to be exchanged from artist to listener and stand as the blueprint for it all.

My personal favorites from Melii are “Gangsta Talk,” “False Signal” and “HML” featured oh her phAses album. Some other dope songs she appears on are “W.T.S” by Meek Mill and “Home Body” by Lil Durk. During her performance, she sang a new song titles “Nena” that I have had on repeat. One thing I admire about her is that she is very tied to her roots in her music as she goes between languages within her songs seamlessly.

The overall energy throughout the concert was very good. Summer Walker did an excellent job of having intriguing visuals throughout her performance. Those incorporated visuals were strippers!!

Her album titled “Over It” was an instant success. Being able to hear it live and in action makes this album even more enjoyable going forward. My top songs from this album are “Come Thru,” “Like It,” “Just Might,” “Stretch You Out,” “Off You” “Playing G… let me not get carried away. Summer Walker produced hit record after hit record on this album.

For anyone wondering if they should go to her concert, I would advise it. She may never go on tour again and her current album is a perfect package to hear live. I believe I enjoyed this concert to its fullest because I love her vibe. She comes off very soulful, chill, and real. I can guarantee that the venue attended will be filled with good energy and vocals that sound just as peaceful as the album.
