Perfume adds an essence to one’s presence. It is an accessory that speaks before words are spoken. Perfume ultimately boosts the overall mood and enhances one’s overall aura.
At a young age, my mom taught me the importance of investing in perfume. This life lesson was instilled in my head the day I saw a Nicki Minaj perfume infomercial.
The informercial showcased her various perfumes. I opted for her limited edition scent as it was limited edition. When it came time to purchase the perfume, it totaled more than I was expecting. I remember asking my mom if it was crazy for me to buy perfume at that price. She said “no.” She went on to educate me that it is simply about the quality of the perfume and the longevity of the perfume once it is in contact with the skin.That specific purchase changed my outlook on my perfume collections going forward.

It is important to identify what kind of fragrance bests fits you. I believe this process does not have to be challenging and will happen naturally based on what scents you are naturally drawn to when exploring different fragrances.
Application tips for wearing perfume include:
- Just spray! Do not rub the perfume when applying as the formula will be altered.
- Apply in areas that are visible when your clothes are on to have the scent project outward
- Keep it in the original box or a place with consistent temperature (cool area) to preserve the perfume.
