Who stole the show ?
Lady Gaga was one of the most talked about celebrities during the Met Gala this year as she had not only one outfit change but four outfit changes in total designed by Brandon Maxwell.
Gaga embodied the theme camp. By definition camp means style or mode of personal or creative expression that is absurdly exaggerated and often fuses elements of high and popular culture.
What I like most about camp is that it challenges one’s creative side. The exaggeration of the arts is truly breathtaking. Many looks of the met gala were on theme.

Even though all of the looks are up to one’s interpretation, they were definitely some looks that graced the carpet where one would say “wow, this is so on theme.”
The Met Gala has been a place that is “owned” by Rihanna in the eyes of the general public. Every year there is an uproar on her appearance on the red carpet. However, this year she was not in attendance.
